Everything was as expected absolutely lovely.

It was our 1 year anniversary and we got upgraded. The staff arranged the banners I requested and put petals on the best so my girlfriend was really happy

No balloons as requested but the upgrade more than made up for this. There was a netting curtain on the hotel window so we could not see the view of the River as suggested

Room was big and bed was comfy

Took over an hour of waiting to get a table for breakfast

It is in fashion to paint everything dark but this just made the hotel gloomy and dreary especially in contrast to the lovely sunny weather. Slow service in the bar. no make up mirror in the bathroom tired shower area Single beds touching . - Not ideal

Staff we’re helpful and accommodating.

Hotel had a corporate event which went on very loudly until after midnight. Then at 0730hrs the industrial wheelybins which were placed under our window were collected waking us both up. This was reported to reception who said they would change it in the future. This doesn’t reflect the ethos of this chain, or the price we paid.

Would have like the breakfast to have been included in the price I thought at £16 per person for pastries / yoghurt and fruit or £20 per person for a hot breakfast a bit steep

Excellent location . Breakfasts were absolutely excellent, as in fact were all the meals there.

Would have liked better lighting around the mirror in the bathroom.

The bathroom was exceptionally good , the beds were very comfortable, the cleanliness was good. The facilities were excellent.

Continental breakfast was excellent. Staff was friendly and provided good service. Room was average.

Toilet did not flush properly and when I told the front desk the only option was to give us a new room. I thought they should have looked into the issue further.

Location - 10 min walk along the Strand to get to Albert Docks/Shops Secure - key card needed to get to use the lifts Parking - next door, convenient, £20 per day though 😒

Shower - wasn't very powerful, no movable head. Rooms - asked for roons together. Were next numerically, but round a corner, as opposed to interconnected (which 1 of them was) Cards - only 1 keycard per room, needed for lights, lift and door...not ideal if 1 of you needs to get something out the car.

check in was frustrating as they were adamant it would not be before 3pm and therefore there was a queue of people at 3pm so we left as we had a time plan elsewhere

The hotel is close to shops and bars 10 minute walk does not have parking. There is a car park next door we used King's Dock car park that has security on and is clean

The room was not up to my expectation. Room size is good no bottled water in room no face cloth .windows were dirty and the bhind wardrobe was filthy with a old sock hanging on electric cable for fridge that had been there . carpets could have done with a clean. The cooked breakfast was cold on first day and not worth £18 .
