City Star Lodge

Renovated. Good location. Good value for money.

Stairs to access, and door was a bit hard to open and close as it doesn’t quite line up properly.

The staff at City Star Lodge were an absolute delight! Every single staff member we saw or spoke with had a smile on their face and were courteous. The Communal Kitchen is a great idea and our room was clean, modern and smelt nice. The shower was lovely, with perfect temperature and pressure control. The location was also great, with a bus stop right outside, a spot for rideshare drivers to pull up and plenty of useful shops nearby, such as Macca's, KFC, a pub/bottle shop, a corner store and more. As a bonus, whatever scent they are infusing at the reception desk smells DELIGHTFUL 😊

Our only slight negative which brought us down to 9 ⭐️'s is that the bathroom was quite cramped, even for us 3 gal's, so might be a squish for some, and the lights were initially difficult to figure out. Also, one of the lights in the bathroom wasn't working and there is no fan so it can get quite damp and steamy in there...

Rooms were clean, beds comfy, staff very polite and helpful

clean and tidy, with a full kitchen to use if required. Sparkling and flat cold water dispenser.
