Bridgewater Terraces

The location was excellent - Kangaroo Point is a great base from which you can explore Brisbane. We changed rooms and the room was right on the river with a lovely terrace which was great

Initially we were in an apartment that was very noisy due to its close proximity to the Story Bridge.

Fantastic location with a view of the river

The beds were old and uncomfortable, mismatched kitchen utensils and crockery

Great location. Easy walking distance to the ferry’s, restaurants and cafes. The apartment was well set up with views over the river. Facilities were great.

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like

The water views. The pool.

The cleanliness of the apartment.. couldn't even turn the fans on with the amount of dust on them, the walls were sticky looking and filthy with big drips and streaks running down, the taps in the bathrooms were thick with grime, the shelf you should be able to put your toiletries in the shower was loose so your toiletries just slid off.. the floor was so dirty our feet were black. We had an 8 week old with us, pretty unacceptable.. to charge $900 for 2 nights for such a run down apartment is quite ridiculous. Also the place is such a maze with steps everywhere, the car parks, fobs, cards and stuff are a nightmare if you try and check in just slightly early.. was told to come back at 2pm for check in, fine but then the receptionist disappeared for 30mins to check if room was clean.. well it should be at 2pm.. well actually it was never going to be clean anyway..
