Sima Thani Hotel

Great experience very professional room space great couldn’t have asked for a better experience 😌

Breakfast was a lot of food available, although I just wanted an omelette from the station

The breakfast buffet staff were not ready when i came down at 8am, and they had to go search for the omelette lady to come. then she made me the wrong omelette.

The bed and the bathroom are very good. I like the big bed and the medium matress. the bedding is very comfortable and the television is comfortable. In general, i like the rooms and the layout.

The service is getting worse. When I arrived at the hotel nobody came to help me unload my bags even though there was a baggage boy just standing in the lobby. There was usually only one, maybe two people at the front desk, and when I needed to check out, there was nobody. The hotel is understaffed and doesn't offer good service to the guests. They changed the location of the breakfast buffet, and even this lacked service. I ordered an omelette directly to the chef, and he walked away and didn't return until 15 mins later, by which time I was almost done with breakfast. Where did he go? Slow service. The food at the breakfast buffet was cold. There were not warmers underneath the food to keep the rice and curries warm, so the food was stone cold by the time I ate at 6:30am (it started at 6:00am). The breakfast buffet also lacked a coffee machine and only offered powdered instant. They used to have a coffee machine in the old location. I'm not sure why it disappeared. In general, this trip was much worse than previous trips, and considering the next night I stayed at Centara for 500 baht more, I'm not sure I'll be returning to the Sima Thani.
