You could not ask for any nicer owners and staff and a hotel that close to the center of town but just far enough not to be bothered by noise from the busy streets! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
The acoustics of an older building will carry the noise of guests and unfortunately guests think they have to carry the noise of the festive nightlife from the streets into their rooms! It would help if the owner posted a quiet time in the hotel of 11pm.

Great location is just a block from downtown but you do not have the noise or hassle of it. Nearby restaurants offer local food that is pretty good at good prices. I have two rooms one of them with balcony with a really good view of the cathedral and mountains at night.
That you need to pay with cash, I am used to travel with just small amounts of cash and rather pay with credit card.
