The location is walking distance to Quepos center city. Close to the Malecon. Very pleasant. Nice restaurants across the street. Staff is very nice.

A desk and chair for working with a computer would be an improvement for me.

we couldn’t sleep as our room was right next a chicken house and they were constantly ‘singing’ and crawling on the tin roof which made a lot of loud scratching noise. the swimming pool in reality is super small and tight in the middle of the parking lot which is a little strange setup. no fridge in the room, the on-site cafe/bar seems abandoned for some time. there was never anyone at the reception, despite ringing the bell I waited a long time for check out. nobody came anyway so I have to key to someone in the janitor room.

The complex has a few rooms set around a courtyard and parking area, making it easy for a large group to stay together but in separate rooms. There is a small plunge pool which was kept clean. There are good restaurants just across the road (Bahia Sur) and plenty more in Quepos town and the marina, plus plenty of shopping including a large local supermarket two minutes walk. The staff was very helpful.

The air conditioner was broken when we first checked in but it was fixed.

The owners are lovely and make you feel welcome. The aircon was great, use of facilities including kettle and microwave was very handy!

Sometimes the wifi drops out but otherwise no dislikes.

There is a little walk from the hotel to the center of Quepos (about 15 minutes).

There is only a sheet on the bed, so if it gets chilly, there isn't a very good way to get warm.

The price is excellent for how close it is to Quepos. The room was clean and quiet, and the staff was helpful and quick.

The remote barely worked from the bed. I had to get up and stand near the TV to change channels or volume.

Location

There were cockroaches in the room and animals in the ceiling. There were not people in the front desk when we arrived and we were about to leave when the person appeared 20 minutes after.

good accomendation to visit Manuel Antonio National Park, big room, parking slot, small pool and close to different restaurants and places in Quepos, perfect for a short stay;

It was located near to restaurants and quepos downtown, and perfect if you want to stay one night and visit the national park. The place had all the necessities and things mentioned in the description, but nothing more. The host was helpful and considerate regarding check-in, nearby activities and when closing the gate for the night.

It would have been nice if breakfast had been available as well as a cup of coffee in the evening or afternoon. There was something that looked like a cafe at the location, but we did never see it open or in use. The place was a fine hotel for the night, kind of feeling like a hotel-stay anywhere in the world. There was no local vibe/feeling.
