The property was clean and beautifully decorated. There was a gorgeous separate small kitchen and dining area.
The property was within walking distance of restaurants and shops and right near the Tiber river.
Costantino was very helpful with giving us information about where to eat and what to do in the area.
Our plane did not leave until later in the day and he allowed us to leave our bags there until we were leaving.
The airport was about a 5 minute drive and we were able to organise a shuttle through Costantino.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Il Piccolo.

The host was very easy to communicate with. He scheduled a car to pick us up from the train station and another one to take us to the airport. He was very nice when we arrived, helped us carry our heavy bags up the stairs, provided some water and juice for us and offered to make us a light breakfast (sandwich and fruit) before our early morning flight.
It was a little weird sharing a living room and kitchen with another renter but since we were only staying there for the night before our flight the next morning, it was fine. I wouldn't want this set up for a longer stay.

Quick drive from the airport. Very secure residence and comfortable. Room was small but AC worked well and the small bathroom was more than adequate.
Wish it were closer to a good dining facility. Bit of a walk to get downtown where most of the restaurants are.

Il Piccolo was our overnight stop before flying out of Roma airport the next day. It is a charming B&B that more than met our needs. Room was compact, but fully functional with quiet air co, shower, shampoo etc. Room was so quiet despite being about 10 minutes from the airport. All I ever heard was the birdlife of which there were many. Breakfast was a delight with cereal, croissants, juices, yoghurt, fruit, toast, sandwiches and more. I had a freshly made cappuccino and my partner, tea. Absolutely recommend if you need an overnight stay near the airport..

Nice host with amazing room. Facilities were perfect. We got packed breakfast as we have to leave early morning. Every item was of god quality. Only have to take taxi if flight is early morning or night.

The accommodation was well-presented, up-to-date and exceptionally clean. Non-alcoholic drinks and biscuits were provided, and if we wished to cook for ourselves, the small kitchen could be used to produce a simple meal. We did not wish to cook so the owners directed us to the local restaurant area which was about 15-20 minutes walk away (helpfully, a map was also provided). There was a great selection of different restaurants available and there were many locals out and about enjoying a lovely evening walking along the canal/river which went out to the local beach. As our flight was very early, we needed to depart before breakfast. However, Il Piccolo provided us with a small breakfast to take away.
Getting to and from Il Piccolo was not straightforward. I thought Il Piccolo was closer to Fiumicino international airport than it turned out to be. Nonetheless, Il Piccolo organised a driver to collect us from the train station and then take us to the airport the next morning. This cost 20 euros each way, so that needs to be factored into the cost of staying.
In addition, I thought we had booked the entire apartment to ourselves so I was surprised to find that we were sharing with another couple. In the end it didn't matter much as we didn't see them or hear them but it did mean we locked ourselves into our room in the evening and didn't place anything in the common space.

Good choice before the morning flight. Nice area with good fish restaurants and seaside in walking distance. Free water, juice, coffee, tea. Take away breakfast. Shuttle service to airport 20 e for two persons.

The room was very comfortable, clean, spacious and with everything needed. They arranged efficient transfers to the airport with very nice drivers (especial mention to sweet Paola!). Very close to the airport and convenient. Breakfast was very nice and the owners very pleasant people. Definitely a place to trust and come back!

beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful “extras”: cold bottled water, kettle in the room, emergency toothbrush/toothpaste in the bathroom. the host was extraordinary: welcoming, kind and helpful with the airport transfer

I absolutely loved everything about the stay. The owner was extremely friendly. He came to pick me at the door as I arrived very late in the night. Helped me order food. The room was very beautiful and clean.
Next morning breakfast was served.
They also booked me a taxi to get to the airport.

area is unusual, B and B is part of owners home. don’t worry about location or your reaction when walking in. the section of the B and B is excellent, clean and modern. you are met by the owner. who will give you places to eat snd a map of the area. we went for Chinese food a short walk away and it was very good

It is very convenient for the airport and even though it was so close, it is a very quiet location. The hosts are lovely people and made the stay even better with their helpful advice.

This little B&B was so comfortable and beautifully decorated! Even though this was just meant as a place to stay the night before our flight, and we weren't expecting anything fancy, it had the most comfortable down pillows and the softest linens we came across on our trip. The host serve a delicious homemade breakfast, again one of the best of our trip! And the host arranged airport transportation for us in the morning. What a lovely way to end a wonderful vacation in Italy! Thank you!
