Lovely owner whom got up early on a Sunday to make us breakfast before we departed. The food was great and there was a good selection.
The room was really nice with a view over to the harbour and the bathroom modern and clean.
We had an early night and the guesthouse and area was very quiet.
The only improvement I could suggest is to the shower as it was a little temperamental. It would go lovely and warm and then freezing cold continuously.

We were staying the night before starting the Sea-to-Sea bike ride, and Lismore had everything we needed. It was located close to the sea front, and start of the ride. We had a quiet, comfortable room (with a sea view), and secure bicycle storage. The staff were very friendly, and happy to cater for our needs and offered a vegan breakfast. The breakfast was excellent and plenty big enough to power us through the first day of our ride.

Cosy, spotlessly clean, well-equipped room with ensuite shower and even a mini fridge which was very useful.
The best Full English Breakfast, a friendly and helpful host and the location was a short drive from Ennerdale after a wild weather day out on the Lakeland Fells.
There were several places to go and eat and a Tesco Superstore a short walk away.
There were views of the sea and nice sky views from my room even though it was in an urban setting.
This guest house was excellent value for money and I would definitely consider returning.
This premises is in town and so if you're bothered by traffic noise, you might consider bringing ear plugs to sleep. It didn't bother me. There is disc parking outside of the premises, but the host Brian reassured me that I would be fine without a disc. Not quite sure where you would park if there wasn't space and I forgot to ask.
