Friendly staff - especially on Reception. Lovely harbour views from room and seating area outside pub - good to see pub popularity. Spacious room (although basic) with big bed. Nice to have kettle, tea, coffee, hot choc etc. Good breakfast included.

Very small bathroom and shower - and basin so small, it was difficult not to splash water on floor. Bedside lamps hit and miss - a flicker here and there. BUT main issue: VERY thin walls - guests next door not particularly quiet with loud TV (at night and 7am), chatting and (worse) snoring ALL NIGHT (no exaggeration). A good night’s sleep is most important in hotels etc and this was not possible (plus rubbish collection around 5.30am one morning). Generally expected more of a quality stay for the price.

Room at the rear and location acceptable. Toilet and shower good.

Shower head loose on rail and appeared to be no power to the mirror light! Breakfast Old Ship special a little disappointing.
