Stones Hotel and Bar

Very clean with friendly staff, well presented breakfast and the cooked breakfast was very nice x lovely little set up of treats and things for our dog that came with us,

Was a shame that the nights we stayed there was no evening meals being cooked, we did eat at the hairy dog which wasn’t great but was edible , also missing as it’s a dog friendly pub was the lack of dog waste bins

Comfortable 2nd floor room (#21) with good facilities & ensuite shower bathroom. Located in the centre of Minehead with lots of local dining & shopping on the doorstep. Short walk to the beach. We had our dog (cocker spaniel) with us and Stones provided a mat, treats, baggies & a water bowl for the room. Breakfast choice was excellent with a very substantial Traditional alongside other options & cereals, juices, toast & jams. Coffee / Tea was good and readily offered by the friendly staff. Sports bar showing football in the evening with good range of drinks available. Evening food available via a guest discount in the nearby Hairy Dog pub under the same ownership.

Note: Dog Room Cleaning Premium was not included in Booking.com price (not made clear in listing...but fair enough) Some creaky floors but generally quiet as the 2nd floor room was on a side road. Guest car parking is slightly limited and fc-fs

Well priced and comfortable clean room. We liked having the separate bunk bedded room for our daughter. Convenient location in central Minehead

The room was up a lot of narrow stairs which would not suit everyone. Limited choices at breakfast

The building was lovely and so was the food it was amazing and the pizza is out of this world. The room was a good standered size and the bed was comfy.

As it was hot and i couldnt emagine staying when it was really hot, a van in the room wasnt enough. Needs air con badly.
