Staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was gorgeous, modern, cosy and immaculately clean. Fabulous atmosphere, great choice of drinks at the bar.

The location is great, 15 minutes from the Edinburg main train station by bus. The staff is lovely and let us leave the luggage after the check-out for a few more hours so I definitely recommend them. The staff was very nice to us

Excellent value for money in a decent location. The staff are friendly and all the basics are covered. There is a lively bar downstairs and another decent sports bar with inexpensive good food around the corner. The hotel is close to bus routes into the city and a well stocked local shop for any essentials.
It mostly just needs a bit of TLC, although this could easily push the prices up so would perhaps be a mixed blessing. There are loose taps, and both the TV and curtain rail are not very well fitted. The TV is too small for the room so if you do plan on a movie in bed you might find it easier to watch on a tablet. The furniture and layout is a bit awkward for a double, it could very easily be made into an excellent single room though.

Really clean and fresh and new.
Room was very small and you couldn't get to the other side of the bed without climbing across the bed.
