Sawasdee Village

Sawasdee was an oasis for me, so tranquil and relaxing, by design with incredible thai architecture. I highly recommend the pool access room, especially the ones that empty into the canal, as it is a lovely stretch to explore or swim. Having a pool canal right outside my rooms balcony, was wonderful , make sure you go out at evening as it is gorgeous in the dark too. Multiple pool bars were connected to the canals and pools. The staff were very hospitable and responsive to all of my needs. The workout area was great, little pool table and games were fun. Breakfast was great with my only suggestion is a few more dessert or sweet options. The location is great, Kata Beach is much more chill beach town with lots to eat and do than more popular places like Patong, while still very close to main attractions as we often got hotel transfer for free to key tourist sites and activities.

I initially had a room close to louder renovations and they moved me quickly upon request. One thing to note, the beach is close but not adjacent as you need to walk around other hotels. However they have an hourly shuttle is very convenient (maybe less than 5 mins) and I actually preferred to walk it (about 10 mins).

We stayed in a pool villa and it was so beautiful. Really enjoyed swimming from the living room to the pool. Absolutely beautiful property and a wonderful staff.

Pool area is lovely and very unique and staff are absolutely lovely.

Rooms and facilities are probably in need of a a refresh. Hotel is on the side of a not very nice road. I felt it was more like a 3 star hotel than a 4 star hotel to be honest. Not awful but not great either.
