There was nothing to dislike

In the city, convenience of location and access by car. Excellent staff and particularly lovely to be greeted by Nadia after a long travel day. Nothing was too much trouble and she cooked us a hot meal at this late hour.
The shower was temperamental, difficult to get the correct temperature.

Buffet breakfast was good. Clean & tidy room. Friendly staff, helpful & polite.
Very noisy, traffic noise at night, town centre location so some is to be expected, but was hoping windows would be better soundproofed. Noisy on a morning too.

Breakfast was actually pretty good with lots of choices and staff were lovely.
The room just felt dark and moody. Some of the Holiday Inns can actually be quite nice but this one felt old and bathrooms need a bit of tlc. Elevator wasn't working properly, quite often I needed to use the stairs.
