This was an excellent hotel with outstanding location in the old town of Chalons. It has an outstanding restaurant (and not to be missed!). Highly recommended (we will definitely go back).
The parking on site was limited and pretty small (we had a Peugeot 5008 SUV), but some-how we fitted the car into the last space (we left on a late check-out, so there was no problem leaving), but be forewarned about limited space and no parking reservations accepted.

The restaurant was excellent as expected from a Michelin star. The staff are welcoming and professional. The rooms clean and comfortable.

The Bistro was exeellent - food and the staff. The car parking situation can be tricky - worth booking in advance as local public parking is expensive.

The air conditioning in the room was excellent - there was a heatwave. But it was noisy, I had to turn it off at night
The restaurant was closed in the evening and I didn't get an honest reason why. The receptionist told me it was "Fully booked". Actually it was just closed.
The decor and furnishings were dated and in need of a makeover.
