InterContinental David Tel Aviv by IHG

The staff was incredible and kind, especially Zehavit who called in advance to ask about my daughter’s bday which we were celebrating and what her favorite cake is. She organized early check in for us and late check out as well as a cake for my daughter’s 14 birthday. It was amazing. We were so happy. Thank you to Zehavit for truly caring and making our time there special. The pool was very fun too and not too crowded and the hotel feels like you are in a different country. We forgot we were in israel. The room was big and beautiful with a gorgeous view and comfortable beds. Its location is great. Close to the beach and to the Shuk. Would definitely recommend both for Israelis who want to feel like they are abroad as well as for tourists who want to feel a luxury hotel in israel.

The breakfast wasn’t great for anyone who doesn’t eat dairy.

Room decor very "dated"- we were there 2 weeks so surprised we weren't given one of the updated rooms. Cold water tap in bathroom was hot which was a concern from a health perspective. I repeatedly complained nearly every day for the first week and gave up as they couldn't resolve the problem - no feedback or explanation/appology. Air con unit also leaked water into hallway in room. Pool was very good but music was just too loud (very dissapointing for me for this type of hotel) and sometimes hard to find sun beds away from big speakers. Lobby food more or less ok but limited selection and very overpriced for what it was.
