The mattress was very firm but it is a motel so I won’t complain to much

Very spacious room and ensuite. Everything we needed was there. I liked the liquid soap in the bathroom and the shower. Friendly and helpful staff. Anything we wanted we just had to ask. I would stay there again.
Everything was great. We had to drive into Bendigo but once we got used to the parking metres it was fine.

The room was clean, the bed very comfortable. It was spacious. I would stay there again.
The booking in when I arrived as a little confusing. But that could have just been because I didn't know the process. That could be made clearer.

The room was very spacey, allowing my partner and I to be able to endure another lockdown period. Everything in our room was clean, something that is important to us, no matter what price is paid. The free laundry facilities were clean and a nice change from forking out a fortune normally to use public machines.
Daryl (owner) and his wife were very accommodating, checking in daily with us if we needed anything. They were also a delight to have for company through the lockdown, keeping us amused with friendly conversation and banter. We both travel often and we stay in many places, and some just stand out more than others. It isn't always about the expensive trimmings, it's about the care of the property, cleanliness, and making you feel welcome. Not to mention how affordable these rooms were. The location is only a few minute's drive from Bendigo city center, however, there are plenty of major services in the Kangaroo Flat area that we never needed to go any further. Will definitely be staying here again if we ever come through in the future. - Sarah

Stayed for 2 nights and didn’t have any milk for coffee or tea -
Outside area adjacent to my room had no lighting so sat out the back in darkness ☹️
I stayed prior to this at another motel in Eaglehawk and they had milk and bottled water l did bring my own coffee so had to have it black😞

Be aware - there is no flyscreen in the room! Couldn't leave the window open, so apparently the room was stuffy.

Lovely reception staff apon check in.
Room old, Carpet felt yuk to walk on sticky and dirty and furniture stained and dirty. The room was stale no window and sliding door had no screen so unable to let in fresh air. I was very hesitant to sleep in the bed.
But I did have my own pillow.
