Beautiful spacious room Great view Friendly dogs

We arrived earlier than our check-in time, assuming we could wait in the lobby or lounge since we had taken a taxi directly from Kerry Airport to the hotel. Upon arrival, we found that the gate was closed. A staff member opened the door only to inform us in a frustrated and rude tone that we could not enter until check-in time, before closing the door on us. As a result, we had to ask our taxi driver to take us downtown so we could wait there and return later. We were completely taken aback by this lack of hospitality. Additionally, it is completely unclear how or from whom to request assistance, as there is not always someone around to help guests.

The hotel is in a good location. It's not necessarily central in Dingle, but it is roughly 10 minutes' walk away and right beside the Dingle distillery, which suited us perfectly. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the room was well equipped with accessible plugs, there was also a hairdryer if needed. Hygiene products like soap, shampoo and conditioner are also available in the room, as well as shower caps. The bedding was comfortable and the room never felt too warm. There is also a smart TV in the room, where you can sign into any streaming services you may wish to use. There is also two safes in the room, from what I saw, they looked big enough to store a laptop, which I think is a helpful touch. The breakfast was very tasty, with a nice variety of foods available. The lounge and bar area are also very snug and comfortable. I cannot go without mentioning my favourite part, which is the gorgeous Irish wolfhounds that roam around the property! It was amazing to see them up close, they are very friendly and gentle dogs, and they really enhanced the experience in my opinion!

I wouldn't say there is anything I didn't like, however I think it would be good for them to supply a little tube of toothpaste. I suppose if we enquired, they may have had some toothpaste available, but I know that it's not very common in Irish hotels. Other than that, everything was perfect for our needs and I would definitely recommend staying here!

The dogs that met you upon arrival and the overall property is beautiful.

The superior chalet was a cottage house around back next to the garbage cans. No view. The staff was none existent. The breakfast was very minimal. .
