The Ainscow Hotel

The room is spacious and mostly quiet, didn't hear much from other guests. The air con was cool and fresh, needed for a room with no windows. Great location to explore Manchester. The bed and pillow was really comfy.

24 hour reception is advertised however on one of the nights, we were waiting outside the hotel to be let in by staff for about 10 minutes on a Saturday night. There's no self scan-in system so we had to use a buzzer, but no-one was on reception and we even tried calling the hotel but no-one arrived for a while. We stayed for 3 nights, and after the second night (third day), we asked for room service. We were informed that it's after three nights, however we had rubbish accumulating and so I asked if this could be cleared. The reception staff were reluctant to action this and when we got back that evening the rubbish wasn't cleared anyway.

The hotel was modern. Our room was huge. I liked how the toilet was seperate from the shower.

Our room was very hot, despite having the windows open, 2 fans and a small portable air con. We went in September so it wasn’t even hot outside. It would be better if there was a door to the shower room as my friends could clearly see in. We found a carpet bug and the staff immediately hoovered the room.

I really like cleanliness, the staffs are very friendly and is very easy to get to the city centre

Only the bathtub is too high and could be risk coming out after taking bath, I almost fall

Location is decent, staff all friendly

States the hotel has parking, doesn't state that parking is £15 a day. And the Tele didn't work
