Loved the rooms, the character of the whole place, and the kitchen where you have breakfast for us was upstairs where you can access the lovely balcony. The Staff was amazing too! The location was handy to get to most places but a bit of a walk. Discovered the little shop next to the apartment and the price for things like water bottles etc was sooo cheap!

The room was a bit tight for a family of 5, ours boys were 12, 10 and 8 so not terrible since we were only there for 3 nights. It was still fun having the area outside were we could play card games or have some food.

This place was beautiful! We couldn't find the building at first because we weren't sure how it was labeled. Once inside, everything was fantastic! I like how the room was set up with a common area when you first enter with a kitchen and patio-style seating. Our individual room was perfect. We had our own bathroom and two beds. We loved the decor and the antique style. The breakfast room upstairs was just as comfy. Breakfast each morning was delicious and there was a variety of food to choose from... Homemade pastries, pancakes, eggs, toast, yogurt with granola and fresh fruit, coffee, cappuccino, juices. Fabrizio was such a great host and arranged a taxi to take us to the airport on our last day. We would definitely stay here again.

The lighting in the bathroom wasn't the best. If you need lighting for makeup you'll probably struggle a bit.

It’s a nice big place, interestingly decorated throughout. Fabrizio and the staff were very kind, understanding and accommodating. Provided us with guidance on the city and some useful info. The breakfast was okay and varied and we could eat it on the terrace with a view on Vesuvius and the city. The location is good, about 20min walk to the centre.

The room itself was too basic. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the couch looked a bit worn out already. There’s no tv in case someone would like to have one. Our window view was on some damaged building and the balcony was small and useless, can’t sit on it. The price was similar to prices of much better hotels we stayed at. The fact that we had to pay €35 for parking and €10 for tax made it even more expensive. Be prepared for many steps, running up and down and codes to every door.

Nice views from roof terrace. Fabrizio was helpful and attentive.

The shower was dirty with hairs from a previous stay. Also lots of mold in and around the shower. I don’t expect 5 star luxury for this but proper cleaning and maintenance is a must for me. No elevator in the building and this is 3 floors up. This should be mentioned in the description of the stay, I don’t recall I had seen anything like that. In my opinion this property has not the value for money to be listed in the Lonely Planet guide.
