We have stayed at the Kahrmuhl several times and love it. Staying in a 400 year old building that has been in the family continuously is simply amazing. We love the history and family friendly service provided by the host family. The rooms are large and comfortable. We book one with a small kitchen which we love. The location is perfect situated next to a beautiful stream away from town. Breakfast is wonderful and we love the "honor" frig with drinks. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but there are plenty within short driving distance. A great experience!

Great location, beautiful scenery, and really quiet. Breakfast was good too.
I didn’t think the bed was very comfortable.

remote area.
Walls are super thin. Can hear everything in the halls and other rooms. House keeping woke me up around 0830 by knocking loudly on the door.
