Hotel Falkenturm

Fantastic location within a short walk of Mirianplatz, the Glockenspiel, and several train stations. The location is amazing and very easy to navigate. We loved popping into some local bars and shops. The staff was lovely and happy to chat or offer suggestions when we asked for recommendations. We arrived early and got access to our room so we could drop our bags off and quickly change after our international flight. while they finished getting it ready. This was incredibly convenient. We had a few errands to run and when we got back, we were able to get comfortable. Would absolutely stay here again.

The property was exactly as I expected with comfortable beds and plenty of room for 5 adults. The listing calls out all of the issues that other reviews have listed - 1 bathroom, elevator to 4th floor, etc. none of these were surprises so therefore we knew what we were getting and not at all disappointed.

Location

Room was really small for the price.

Great location and easy check-in. Loved not needing to keep track of a key card.

The bed was extremely worn in, kept sinking in the middle. Theres a lot of street noise they still makes it through the closed window.

We booked this last minute as there was an error on our original booking at a different hotel. It was by far the best value in a great location. Other options were 3-5 times as much! The bed was soft and comfortable. It had an elevator and air conditioning.

The parking was a bit far, cost 90 Euros for about 40 hours, and the promised discount coupon didn’t work. My husband had to argue with the parking lot attendant who eventually just told him to leave at no charge. The vending and coffee machines in the lobby didn’t work. The room was very small, even by European standards. The shower had a half glass wall so it was impossible to keep water from spraying on to the floor. The towels were thin and small; no washcloths.
