Hotel Palau de Bellavista Girona by URH

Check in very friendly and informative. When you first arrive there is a large room with some seating but you have to go up in the lift to reception. Taxi €37. Fantastic panoramic view from reception. Room lovely and cool on arrival. Clean and decent side view. Bar staff helpful. Lots of seating areas on the roof some with comfy faux leather seat pads and reception supply towels. Approx 10 sunbeds and full sun but there is some shade and umberellas would spoil the fantastic views. Yes pool is small but adequate to cool off and look out at the views. Bar service on rooftop and bar menu.  Breakfast caters for all nationalities from fruit to bacon and sausage.  Plentiful . Beds comfortable. Yes there is a glass partition for bathroom and no soundproofing but put some music on your phone and its soundproofed!  Bathroom was spacious and had everything we needed including complementary toothbrush and shower gel and shampoo.  18min amble walk down and back to Central Girona with cafes on the way just follow Google maps (see photos taken on walk). Some flat and some steeper sections but not awful. Not suitable for anyone in a wheelchair or rollator because of cobbles and steps. Reception happy to book a taxi for return journey to airport.

Posizione suggestiva, allestimento affascinante, colazione ricca e deliziosa. E infine una speciale menzione per il bagno dotato di bidet!!! Italiani, non perdete questa emozione cosi’ rara all’estero :-)

La piscina e’ piuttosto piccola

The hotel has amazing views across Girona.

The pool is not a pool it is the size of a large bath. Our room was a little tired, the chair arms were worn, paintwork was coming away in parts and there was black under the rim of our toilet. Found a few staff to be quite glum, not a lot of smiles. Breakfast was ok but we could have got better value in the town . Not the best cycle facilities either, it was a cage in a garage
