Besides being very clean, everyone was very happy with their bedrooms. Beds were super comfortable. In the past it seemed someone in our family would have to settle for a bedroom that was small or not situated the best. This one all three bedrooms were roomy and comfortable. The kitchen was very big and open. The owners were very prompt in answering questions. We will definitely rent this house again!

We have rented many houses all over the Cape and this by far was the best!! The house was so comfortable, clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and there was a great amount of space. The neighborhood and walk to the beach was lovely. I highly recommend this house!

Beautiful home! Clean and well equipped with all necessary essentials. Had more than enough room for 7 adults and 2 children. Neighborhood was very nice and we all enjoyed walking and riding our bikes to the beach! Highly recommend this beautiful home for vacation!

The house was perfect for our family vacation to the Cape. The house was clean, well stocked, and exactly as described in the listing. The layout of the house was great and had enough space for our family of 5. The large basement that went out to the side yard was great for kids. The best part for us though was the convenient location to Ridgevale beach. My kids ages 8-12 were able to ride their bikes down to the beach every day (~3 min bike ride) and I walked down the wagon with the beach stuff (~10 min walk). The convenient location allowed us to go back and forth from the beach to the house. Chatham is also a convenient location on the cape to be able to get to different towns on the cape to visit friends. We also took a ferry from Harwich (~5 min away) to Nantucket for the day. All in all, it was a great week. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful too. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

We had the best week staying at this beautiful home ! Being able to walk to the beach and being a short drive from the center of Chatham and Harwichport made it even better ! The owners were very helpful with any questions we had leading up to our stay. Would definitely stay here again !

This house was perfect for our family. We had three adults and four children, who loved the downstairs area for their “hangout” space, doing arts and crafts. The King beds are very comfortable and supportive. The house was exceptionally clean! Ridgevale beach is perfect for all ages. We took a private catamaran ride from the snack shack, which was so much fun for the kiddos. It’s a bit of a walk for some child ages, so we would drop the kids down at the beach with an adult and the rest would walk with gear. For many though, the walk is an easy route. We loved this house, location, and most important, friendliness and kindness of the owners. We would love to come back here and rent this house again!

Our family had a wonderful time in Chatham! The house was very clean and spacious for a family of 6. Each upstairs bedroom had a walk-in closet and the kids beach toys were a nice touch. We plan to come back and stay again :)

We had a wonderful time at this rental! The house is very spacious and clean. The large basement was perfect for the kids and there was a great open flow between the kitchen and living room for entertaining. Such a picture perfect neighborhood to walk around as well! Ridgevale beach is a short walk away and they are the only beach in Chatham with a snack bar for the kids, big plus! Thank you for an amazing stay!

This is a great family home with lots of space in a great area of Chatham. The house is very clean and fully equipped. We were all adults but a great place for families with small children. Just wish I had a chance to use all the beach items. The communication with John was excellent with everything you need to know about the home. We just might have to go back!!

My family just spent a wonderful week at this property. Not only was the house clean, it was spacious and accommodating for children. The beach is a short drive or walk away and is the perfect beach for young kids. The neighborhood is beautiful and filled with friendly owners and renters. The distance to the town of Chatham and to the beach can’t be beat. We hope to return next summer!

This was our second year renting this vacation home, and it was as hood as the first time. The house is as nice as pictured, clean, has all the fixtures you need. Plenty of supplies and disposable kitchen and bath needs. John was very responsive to our messages.

Big, clean Chatham property. Walk to beach was 15 minutes, up and down some hills, so we bought a beach pass which was worth it. Nice front porch for morning coffee. For four adults and one child, we had plenty of room and a great week stay.

We enjoyed our stay near Ridgevale Beach in Chatham. The location close to this child friendly beach (with snackbar), walkable by 4 and 6 year old was great. Kids enjoyed basement playroom, we (grandparents) enjoyed ground floor bedroom/bath with the rest of the family on the second floor. House was clean, cheerful, well equipped, nice front porch for sitting. Close drive to School House Ice Cream, Marion's Pie Shop, Pisces Restaurant, and easy drive to town. Great house, great hosts!

We recently booked a week here for a trip with some extended family including and infant and a toddler and had an excellent time. The house was large enough that everyone could spread out without feeling like we were on top of each other but had a large kitchen and dining room table that was great for family meals.
The house is a short walk from the beach, but the beach also had convenient parking available which made it easy to transport all of the gear needed for a beach day with small children. There were also a variety if great restaurant options nearby.
I'd definitely book again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great spot for a family trip.

We have been fortunate to find some great rentals over the years but this one may top the list. Truly everything you need, tons and tons of space and so comfortable. Easy share for 2 families and huge closets that doubled as a space for our 2 year old to sleep! Simple short walk to Ridgevale and at the quiet end of the street. Just lovely. We will be back!

John and Alexia were fabulous hosts and I can’t say enough positive things about their home! The house was very clean and had such a homey beach feel with the decor. Communication was excellent throughout the reservation as well! The house is large and there was plenty of room for my immediate family (2 adults and 3 kids) as well as my extended family members! Toys in the basement and beach amenities were an added bonus!! The beach is a short walk away, the neighborhood is a great size for walking/running, and the main part of town is so close. You can’t beat the location! We can’t wait to come again!!

This was the best VRBO experience we have ever had, period. John went above and beyond at every step of the process. My family experienced an absolutely magical week here and we hope to stay again! The house is extremely clean and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the proximity to Ridgevale beach - our favorite - as well as the trailhead for the cycling trails. What really makes this place, however are all of the little, thoughtful touches from the owners: beach toys, cart, umbrella, TONs of toys and activities for the kids, supplies for the first morning. My children were entertained, I was able to fully relax, and we had the best quality time we’ve had since before lockdown. In addition, John was very responsive to messages and check in and check out was seamless. You will not regret your stay.

Our week at John and Alexia’s property was wonderful. The location of the house was within walking distance to Ridgevale Beach and a short drive into town, as well as many great places to eat. The house was just as pictured and was very clean. Our kids loved the downstairs with the toys and it was great that they had their own space. The front porch was perfect for morning coffee and evening drinks. It was a great week and we loved staying here!

We had a great time at this home. It was centrally located and in walking distance to Ridgevale Beach. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. There was a nice deck with a patio set and a weber grill if you prefer to eat in. We would definitely go back!

The location is great - close to Ridgevale Beach which was perfect for the little ones because of all of the tidal pools and sandbars. We were able to walk there each day and also used the red wagon for the two toddlers who were in our party. You are also close to a lot of wonderful restaurants, a quick drive to Harwich Port, other beaches, and the shops in Chatham.
The house itself was immaculate and perfect for our family of 9 (6 adults, 1 child, and 2 toddlers). The basement had many toys for the little ones and was a HUGE space for the kids to run around in. The outdoor shower was perfect. We also loved that the house had so many essentials (and then some) - more than most houses that we've rented from. It was evident that the hosts care about cleanliness and tasteful beach decor - it truly felt like a beach house. We also loved having our morning coffee and evening cocktails on the large front porch. The grill was useful for the fresh fish that we were able to get at many local fish markets. Although the pictures of the house are accurate, they do not truly portray the SPACE in this home. It is very roomy. We felt very comfortable here.
I highly recommend this home for your stay in the Cape. I know that we would LOVE to return in the future. You will not be disappointed.

Another great week , the house was especially awesome as we have spent the last three years and the new addition of the king size bed to the already ample amounts of beds and super clean were appreciated by our growing kids. Location to the best beach for all ages makes this such an easy house to be in ! See you next year !!

The "cable TV" was a Roku stick; no live TV networks were available. Air Conditioning left the basement frozen, the living room and kitchen frigid, and the second floor bedrooms warm to somewhat cooler. Winter clothes were required in the Living Room to watch the Roku stick. the Basement TV did not work at all. There was no Cable TV there either. Second floor toilet is designed for a toddler, not for an adult male expecting to remain dry. Smaller bedroom on second floor had an undulating bed. We left after one painful night and would like a full refund, if possible. Horrible experience in a cold, clean place with no local news, sports, CNN or Rick Steves.

We stayed at this beautiful property with a family of four (2.5/5.5 year olds), a grandfather and uncle and everyone walked away loving the experience at this Soundview gem placed in the middle of the best Chatham experience you could ask for with convenience to all of the things you’ll want and need. The house was perfectly set up for everyone to do there own thing while also having intimate family time with lots of space. The home itself is very well kept, thought out from a comfort and design level and provides that quintessential Cape Cod experience that most people seek out. It also had all of the extras that make traveling easier, especially the beach gear (eg chairs, toys, etc), red wagon for kids, finished basement with an assortment of kids’ toys and lounging furniture that give you the opportunity to relax early in the morning or late in the day on the deck or porch. Great wifi and multiple smart tvs to really relax when you wanted to with your own content subscriptions. The hosts were awesome, always providing quick responses and generally thoughtful with all interactions. Highly recommend Alexia and John’s place - you won’t be disappointed!!

I don’t know how to summarize our experience at John and Alexia’s place. It was too magical, down to every detail. Booking the property was so easy. Alexia is THE most helpful host, answering all our questions as we found the perfect place for our summer vacation. The house itself is absolutely incredible. The photos don’t do the property justice. Stunningly clean, so well cared for, the decor is beachy and comfortable and inviting. I can’t tell you which room was our favorite— the main living room with the two perfect full couches (fit our whole family on a rainy night when we watched a movie together); the downstairs play space for our kiddos when the house needed to be quiet; the gourmet kitchen with the most state of the art stove and oven; or the bedroom upstairs that my kid affectionately called the Peter Pan room. The home has everything you need — really. Everything. The kitchen is one of the most well stocked kitchens we’ve ever stayed in, having everything you need and then some like a zester, stir sticks for cocktails on the deck, and a lobster pot. There are toys and books for all kid, sand toys, umbrella, beach chairs, towels, blackout curtains, literally Alexia and John thought of everything. We even forgot stuff and realized that they had it in their home for guests (think baggies and aluminum foil and parchment paper!). It was like being in our own home. The location is PERFECT for a family with kids. 7 min walk to Ridgevale beach. They had a stroller and kids wagon we could use to get there. We could go and come back and go again multiple times a day. We would go back in a heartbeat. Best trip we’ve taken as a family
