Very nice staff at reception and in the dining rooms. I liked the design of the exterior and interior of the hotel. Breakfast was served in two areas on the first floor, which I liked as Martha’s dining room was quieter.
It was a little further out of town than I realised when booking, but it was easy to get into town and didn’t take long.

This is a beautifully considered design, right down to the room numbers.
The Marriot brand is not looking after that - the rejig of reception is poor; mini bar fridges with nothing in. Rooftop bar that’s a restaurant you have to book and can’t just go and see the view…

It was spacious, quiet and somewhat ok
My air conditioning wasnt working so couldnt sleep properly , Cleaning staff didnt clean the rooms properly , no new towels, you come back to dirty room or the room as you leave. Tea and coffee wasnt refilled everyday, electricity plugs werent even where they supposed to be, to Iron your cloths you have to duck down and find the plug underneath table. Bed wasnt confy for the price.
