I have to share that Rebecca is one of the nicest hostesses I've ever encountered. We had a hard time finding an Uber off of Praia do Forte and she called all her contacts trying to get us a ride into Salvador, she took at least an hour of her time looking for a ride for us. She was really too kind and generous, help this good is hard to find to be honest. The Pousada was great too but Rebecca's sweetness made our stay even better. The breakfast was great and the bed was comfy in number 8. Great stay overall and highly recommended for all the reasons you would want to spend the weekend at Praia do Forte. Rooms

The staff was so nice and helpful. They were very friendly and made us felt welcomed. The bed was very comfortable. The location was great. But definitely the breakfast was the highlight of our stay! The service was very friendly (the waiter the first days of our stay was really nice) and the food was delicious. The dadinhos de tapioca were the most delicious I ever tried. The fresh fruit was ripe and tasted so good! I didn't like the homemade jam though. All the breads, the tapioca, the crepioca... wow. I was looking forward to breakfast every morning. We already want to go back! We enjoyed the hamoc in the bedroom and we had a beautiful view to the garden.

The breakfast was incredible, delicious, so many options! The bed was quite comfortable, there was a little balcony with a hammock. Air conditioning and fan. Good TV, near restaurants and supermarkets, close to the beach. Private parking. All amazing! The staff was very pleasant and ready to help.

For what they offer, it's a little pricy. There's no pool or hot tub and little space to rest beside the room. Beds are not very comfortable. There was a guy singing and playing guitar during breakfast, which is nice, but you could hear him throughout the whole hotel, so if you'd like to sleep more, you wouldn't.

Extremely nice location to visit Praia do Forte and the structure is very cozy, stylish and clean! the room was little bit small, but with everything we needed…including the AC, a nice balcony and an hammock! super nice! breakfast was also very good and personalized! Everything superb!

The breakfast was amazing. Fresh fruit, juice, bread, and made to order tapioca pancakes and eggs. Location was perfect, but quiet in the evening. It was a perfect choice!

Pousada dos Artistas is a very special place, and our favorite stay during our entire time in Brazil. The owner, Julio, has created this pousada with extreme attention to detail, design, and the local culture - the hotel is clearly a work of great passion. We enjoyed communicating with him from the very start and often received helpful tips about where to get the best meal, ice cream flavors, and excursions. We even went snorkeling with someone from the hotel staff, and it was an effortless and beautiful experience. My favorite part was the beautiful breakfast spread - fresh juice, coffee, bread, cheese, fruit, taopiocas, and omelets - sitting on the patio overlooking the charming garden. Our first day there we saw monkeys in the trees, along with lizards, toads, and a super friendly cat of the hotel. The room was comfortable with strong AC and a beautiful balcony, including a hammock, overlooking the garden. The garden was lit up at night, making this a perfect place to sit and relax at any time of day. I could not recommend this place more! Julio continues to invest in the hotel, so I'm sure it will only get better with time.
