The breakfast was nice, good terras outside, lovely area. The location was top, because we had a rental car and there was valid parking. It's situated between nice shops and restaurants. Not to crowded like down in the centre.

Well everything was fine, I would like to have more hooks to hang towels in the bathroom and hooks to hang jackets in the room itself.

The hotel has a fantastic location and spacious rooms. A special mention goes to the wonderful chef, Benjamin, who makes an absolutely delicious risotto, and to Oksana from the restaurant, who went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful dinner experience. A huge thank you to Oksana for her attentiveness, care, and professionalism. She truly made our evening special!

Unfortunately, the reception staff were a major downside of our stay. First of all, the hotel contacted me in advance and confirmed that our room would have one king-size bed. However, when we arrived, there were two separate beds in the room, and we then had to ask for them to be pushed together. Our room overlooked the back of the hotel, right next to very loud ventilation systems. It was practically impossible to keep the balcony door open because of the noise and the strong smells of food coming from outside. The Deluxe Room with Balcony also looked quite different in reality compared to the photos, but no one seemed particularly interested in finding a solution or offering us an alternative. We came to celebrate a birthday, and when we asked the reception for help arranging flowers, the whole process was surprisingly slow and complicated. We also asked them to book a table at a restaurant near the hotel for a birthday dinner for nine people, but somehow the reservation was made for only two people. We had a similar experience when arranging our airport transfer — it involved far too much back-and-forth for something that should be straightforward at a five-star hotel. Breakfast service was another disappointment. There seemed to be many new or inexperienced members of staff who often appeared unsure of what they were supposed to do. Orders were mixed up, dishes arrived in a strange order and often took a very long time to come. The breakfast selection itself was also quite limited. For a five-star hotel, we expected a much higher and more consistent standard of service, particularly from the reception team.

Il soggiorno non è stato all’altezza delle aspettative per una struttura a 5 stelle. Siamo arrivati alle 22:00 e non ci è stata data la possibilità di cenare perché il ristorante era già chiuso, cosa che riteniamo poco adeguata per questo livello di hotel. Abbiamo soggiornato in una suite: la camera era bella, ma presentava diversi problemi. Aprendo le finestre si sentiva un forte rumore continuo, probabilmente proveniente da un condizionatore. Inoltre, la pulizia non era impeccabile: molta polvere sulle superfici e un giorno la camera non è stata rifatta. Il bagno aveva una vasca senza tappo, quindi inutilizzabile, dettaglio piuttosto grave. Anche il comfort non era dei migliori: cuscini scomodi e letto molto duro. La colazione era discreta, ma ci aspettavamo una scelta più ampia e di qualità superiore. Nota negativa anche per il personale: poco cordiale e non particolarmente reattivo. Inoltre, nessuno parlava inglese, italiano o spagnolo, ma solo portoghese, rendendo la comunicazione difficile per gli ospiti internazionali. Nel complesso, struttura con potenziale ma decisamente sopravvalutata: più vicina a un 4 stelle che a un vero 5 stelle.
