Agree with all the reviews: a fabulous space for the price/area and extremely atmospheric. Very much a hostel facility-wise but elevated into something special by the beautiful garden, meditative environment and very kind staff. A calm refuge amid the noise of Venice! And very close to Santa margarita square which has some lovely restaurants and bars: much better value than the Rialto! Really glad I stayed.
Some fruit at breakfast would be a nice addition

This hotel offers everything a traveler needs in a mostly residential neighborhood, which is a relief from the rest of Venice. The staff has a lovely spirit.
The directions the facility provided seemed quite inaccurate.

The property was very clean with daily cleaning of the room.
I was not happy with one of the personnel at the front desk, Elena, when I ask if I can have a large map and she very rudely said no. I know that they have the free map because I have seen it. I had issues finding my way around Venice and Google Map was not very helpful but with directions in a roundabout longer way and sometimes in a circle. I did not want to get lost at night after fireworks walking back after midnight and the large map would have help considerably. But Elena's rudeness did not help either.
