Reception staff were welcoming and very helpful with ideas and tips of where to visit. They also kindly let us keep our bags behind reception on both our arrival and departure day.
Given how close the hotel is to nightlife we were surprised at how quiet it was (we did have a room at the back on third floor) at night.
Access to an iron and board would always be welcomed at a hotel!

Great location, amazing and friendly staff.
Maybe just the steep stairs. But this is quite a traditional building in Amsterdam, so it was a small price to pay. Might not be suitable for the elderly or people with mobility issues.

The staff were exceptionally wonderful, friendly and very very helpful and location is really great, especially if you’re visiting for the Theatre or anything central
Just a small word of warning if you have any mobility problems is the Hotel is a very tall townhouse. Like all the same Beautiful properties in Amsterdam but there is a lot of steep stairs, this is not a drawback. It’s just something to be prepared for if you have any problems.

The location.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was lovely.
Tiny double room at the very top of the property with no view.
The bed covers were ripped and had a couple of marks on them. Although I could tell they had been cleaned.
