Location is very central and easy to walk to most of the sites. Lots of eateries and boutique shops nearby. It has an elevator!
No place in the old town is perfect. Our room was next to the elevator and narrow stairwell and conversations were heard through the door. We are used to sleeping with ear plugs while traveling. :)

Location was excellent, right in the heart of the old city but on a quiet, pretty street on a canal. A lovely local bar nearby. The hotel was lovely and staff were friendly. Our room was bigger than we expected and very clean and comfy with air con, plus kettle, fridge etc. Was quieter than expected too!
Always prefer 2 pillows at a hotel but that's a minor point!

Good location and comfortable beds
We were staying on level 1 and it was only accessible by stairs that were very very steep and small. Made it hard to not only just walk up and down them but also extremely hard to take our luggage up and down. Was quite pricey, and considering the room, not too sure what made it as expensive as it was

The design of the hotel is very beautiful. The rooms are really well decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The location is dreamy right on a canal and in the center of the city.
The breakfast is minimal and the space to eat, although beautiful, was very small and feels crowded. The room was tiny and as it is a very old building it is very noisy inside the room at night, you can hear the neighbours showering and opening and closing the doors throughout the night. I would say style over substance in this hotel.
