Beautiful setting on the lake in a charming small town that is easily accessed by train. The rooms are large and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was the best ever and the evening restaurant food was excellent. The indoor pool, saunas and spa services were just what weary travelers needed!

Beds are just unbelievably inconvenient. Our backs are still aching (( And rooms are small, but cozy.
Absolutely all the rest (especially breakfast and restaurant Portofino) was just amazing. So now we are hesitating about coming back - hard choice))

Fantastic location: lakefront and only a short stroll from the waterfront centre of Velden. The breakfast was very good, extensive choice and constant replenishment
Staff was polite but not very friendly. We had 2 rooms on the 1st floor and they were both noisy throughout day and night (service / restaurant area on ground floor). Mattress was worn and needs replacement.

There were no extra health and hygiene measures taken to ensure safety, no physical distancing rules were followed in the restaurant.
