Personel extremement aimable Le dîner au restaurant était vraiment bon

Un petit coup de peinture, à l'extérieur comme à l'intérieur de l'établissement, ferait du bien.

The location for travelers is good: on a cross road to Pisa and Livorrno. From inside hotel, the common areas are in good shape and clean. Has nice a dining area with very nice helpful waiter. There, one can have dinner, as well as breakfast. The breakfast is modest and good. The rooms and bathrooms are generally clean.

The access by traveling from Ference to Pisa goes over not very well maintained roads. The hotel from outside is not in a good shape. The rooms have poor noise isolation (one can hear everything on the hallway and through windows), there was a lot of dust and some dead bugs in curtains and bedight lanterns were stained (looked icky). There are no general instructions about the hotel (on few pages about times of checkout, Wi-Fi access, etc.) in the rooms. These are obtained by asking the receptionist directly or by watching a presentation on the TV in the reception area. One receptionist does not know English (or German, more I did not check). So all formalities need to be done with specific staff, in my case in the evening, so checkout in the morning was interesting, with a lot of polite smiles. But the staff is doing their best !!
