Breakfast was fantastic, rooms are lovely and staff outstanding.
Nothing we did not like

Three best things: 1) The hotel is located right in the Old Town, so you can walk out and see the lovely buildings, outdoor restaurants and quaint shops; 2) the breakfast is amazing - a fixed plate of hot and cold choices, fresh and unprocessed; 3) the view from the terrace is great - make sure you have a look
There wasn't hot water in the morning, apparently due to the solar powered heating system, but the owners did switch on the electric backup when requested. Also, the bedding is a hard, textured blanket, when an extra soft sheet would have felt nicer. But these are minor quibbles about a gorgeous hotel.

Friendly staff, fabulous breakfast, central position
Just a little bit of noise as our room was street side but it was Friday night.

The staff were incredibly welcoming, kind and helpful. The location was fantastic; in the heart of the old city and close to the lookout overseeing the water. The overall atmosphere of the building was beautifully decorated and very much enjoyed the pool.
The room was very basic and the bedsheets needed a better cleaning and bleaching as they smelt like sweat. The room was also not very welcoming compared to the rest of the hotel. Very sterile and plain.

"Location splendida. Dalla strada non si direbbe, ma appena entri tutto cambia! Ottima colazione, camere pulite e veramente accoglienti."
