Hotel CC

Location is very close to the main train station

The beds are a bit high. I know some people like that, but I don't. Sometimes it felt like I might slide off because the floor slopes, but that is part of the charm of an old wooden building, so I didn't mind. Still, it would have been nicer if the beds were a bit lower.

Great location, very clean room with a lovely view. Excellent free coffee in the reception and facilities in the room to make your own. Super friendly staff, very helpful.

Absolutely nothing. Great hotel for a great price.

Close to red light district and Centraal Station. On a busy street with lots of restaurants and shops around.

On a busy street, so it’s busy in night. My room was cramped as I had a loft room. Wouldn’t suit people with mobility problems. The corridors were a maze.

great, central, location; friendly and helpful staff

it is not clean - there was a lot of hair and dust on the floor; the air conditioning was blowing air smelling of mildew and its air intake was covered in a thick layer of dust the breakfast is underwhelming - it is not a buffet where you can mix and match whatever you want (which is standard for “breakfast included” options); instead you get vouchers to a nearby cafe that has a fixed set of 5 breakfasts; for someone doing a considerable amount of walking each day, the amount of food included in the voucher menu is not really enough, so you might end up buying more; the quality is not great either, and that applies to both voucher menu items, and also their regular menu items; it is quite noisy, due to the ventilation that makes strange sounds and random times, even when it is turned off it is not comfortable, albeit this should not come as a surprise - the hotel is located in an old building, so the rooms are both small (in surface) and short (in height)
