Clarion Hotel Wisby

Breakfast!

Nothing

Fantastic location and excellent selection at breakfast. Comfortable beds with a good selection of pillows

Thought the hotel was a bit expensive. No kettle in room unless you ask for it. There was no information informing of this. We got to learn about this as we were checking out

The location is great. We could walk from the ferry. The rooms are a good size and the breakfast very good. No cappuccino machine however. The garden area was lovely on a sunny morning to have breakfast.

Our bed was very wobbly and the sheet too small for the mattress size.

Location is amazing. Breakfast was great. Hotel vibe and style is exactly what tourists come to Wisby for. Staff are welcoming and pleasant (I only dealt with reception and breakfast attendants) We were lucky to have gotten a wonderful harbor and sea view.

Pictures do match the facilities but they are not clear that you will be charged extra if you want to use the pool or those facilities. Breakfast is charged extra. (We knew this from booking time) But when one flies to an island, the hotel at least should have the BF included. Our shower amenities (showergel, shampoo) were watered down. There were no gel in them rather a watery weak foam. I am aware that previous guests might have done it but housekeeping hadnt refilled them. Not even after we went down and requested them. My kid was already in the shower, wet n waiting. Moreover, we didnt have a phone to contact reception, any issue requires stepping down and conveying then coming up and waiting. All above were conveyed to the check out reception clerk who was very apologetic and gave me a Breakfast coupon for a future use. Am I going back to Sweden though?? Hotel management should grant more authority to their front desk staff so they can compensate matching the context.
