Convenient city centre hotel. Own parking spaces.£5. 24 hrs .
Needed a 2pm access for an afternoon event and the lad on Reception arranged it for us. Tea and coffee in the room. Bed and bedding all fine
We have stayed many times and it a shame to see it getting run down.
No breakfasts No Bar. it has a certain aroma..as you walk inside maybe the old wood and polish? Fire alarm going on and off for about 30 seconds at about 9am gave us a scare..

Helpful staff, nice clean airy room. Brilliant location for all Shrewsbury has to offer (which is a lot). Car parking. Lovely old building.
Furniture in room a bit shabby. Some vehicle and pedestrian noise from street outside at night.

"The central location was great, the building was gorgeous - all that lovely wood panelling. The staff were lovely too and very helpful with taking our bags to our rooms."
