Location was great. It was. 20 minute walk to old Lyon. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices.
The only negative was that we were given a room on the first floor which was right over a super busy terrace. So it was very noisy until 11 pm at night when the pub closed.

We arrived very late on the train and the staff were efficient and kind, even giving us a drink of lemon water as we were exhausted from travel and trying to find the hotel. The room was very nice.
The surrounds of Lyon Perrache station have a lot of construction work underway making it very very difficult to find even though the hotel is only about 200 metres away. The key is to find a pedestrian walkway that is "hidden" next to a car park entrance about 100 metres from the station. It was night and few people spoke English. We had originally booked the hotel because it was advertised as being close to the station.

Location was great, even if it’s on a bunch of tram lanes so it’s loud.
There are no decent quiet rooms. If you want a quiet room you need to put up with lack of natural light. The hotel staff wanted to seem helpful but actually didn’t do much to try to find me a quieter room.
