Rose Tor Hotel

The breakfast was excellent , one of the best I’ve ever had in a bed and breakfast

The property (because it was Edwardian/victorian) was a rabbit warren of corridors and little sets of stairs , so after 5 different sets of stairs I needed oxygen by the time I got to the room

The hotel is in a very good location near the beach front and also the town centre which is exactly what we needed.The breakfast was excellent very good selection of cereals and fruit and fried breakfast lovely and hot brilliant.

Our room was adequate for us for two nights but if and when we go to Llandudno again I think we shall upgrade to a better room if possible.

Room & en-suite a bit dated but all clean

Breakfast was fab, located perfectly near the pier, restraunts, chippy, bars etc etc,but off the front row. Staff were super chirpy and always had an upbeat vibe about them. Clean towels provided daily, tea n coffee provided too, along with a kettle. Let us check in earlier than planned.

Room was really small, and in need of modernising. The corridor between room 7 and 9 was super loud with bangs and creaks when folk walked past our room. Could smell the drains from the bathroom on day 2, so ended up putting bleach down the sink, bath and toilet to get rid of the smell. Bathroom has black mould growing on the walls, no anti slip mat provided whilst having a shower, bed seemed small and mattress wasnt the best, only a single pillow each provided, which i found uncomfortable, had trouble with the electricity tripping in the room adjacent and ours multiple times on night one leaving us in the dark and no power. Electricity fuse boxes state inspection due in 2024 too, which added to the tripping made us feel slightly uncomfortable.
