Service at the bar was slow at times

Location was good, good view from our room window. Bed was comfortable. Staff member on arrival booked a taxi for us.

Breakfast could have been better. Issues with early check in but member of staff did apologise as it was an error on the booking team, but she did do her best to have the room ready, which we very much appreciated. Not enough coffee, milk and sugar in the room as we ran out.

We were upgraded to a Bigger room which was nice , We stay every year , because you have a pool and Spa

It was okay generally, but nothing was outstanding. The cleaning staff were pleasant, as were reception staff. Considering it was 4* and 8.3 rating, it was disappointing. Gym was well equipped.

1. Noisy people in corridor on 1st night for 1 hr between 1 and 2am! No reception staff answering calls to deal with the issue. 2. Parking is awful. Struggled to park every time we went out. 3. Air con in main bar area at night made it uncomfy to sit in. 4. The pool has low lighting to create an 'atmosphere'. This means you cannot go there if you want to have a dip and read on the loungers. 5. Breakfast was average for a good hotel. No table service for coffee so you have to line up and serve yourself. 6. No air con in rooms. Well, there are units but no means to turn them on. 7. Lack of comfy chairs to sit on in public areas to sit and read the paper/book.
