The tents are amazing. You enter a paradise and they have an eye for details. Restaurant accomodation also astonishing. Service level is also very high.

Yoga lesson every morning

This was the most glamourous glamping experience ever! Every aspect of the stay exceeded our expectations. Everything has been thought of, & the staff are so friendly & helpful. The tent is high end with adorable furnishings, the styling makes you feel like royalty. The food hall is spectacular with details everywhere you turn. The table settings are top notch & the food is delicious. Reception booked us into a cooking class, organized massages overlooking the rice terraces, and even helped us organize a driver for our final day to our new destination plus some sightseeing. Sandat provide complimentary transport to Ubud city & back, very easy to book with them. We enjoyed the quiet surroundings, our tent was right next to rice terraces, which was divine to overlook. We had a separate bed as we were traveling as friends, even the spare bed was comfortable. This really is the perfect romantic getaway for couples though.

Only 2 small comments, and one is not in Sandat's control. 1. The road in is the worst road we travelled on, with massive potholes most of the way. We hired a private driver to get us there and felt guilty his car was being hammered on such bad roads. The local council or businesses really should look at some dirt to fill in the potholes & make the experience in better. Thankfully once you arrive, all expectations are exceeded by the beautiful reception & facilities at Sandat. 2. We paid the additional cost on our booking for Suite with 'Complimentary Daily Minibar', (not really complimentary when you pay extra for it). As it turned out, the mini bar was just a couple of bottles of sparkling water & soft drink, which when we added it up, would have cost us less to buy than the daily fee added to our booking. We had expected the mini bar to include chips or choc also, which it did not.

I had the perfect stay. The location is charming, the tents are beautiful and comfortable, and the staff are absolutely fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they arranged a private yoga session for me and a massage in the room. I loved the private pool and everything about the private corner I had.

The approach to the property is from an extremely dilapidated route so cab drivers might have issues.

A great way to experience the serenity of Ubud. The tented suites are stunning, and really immerse you with the forest. The whole property is beautiful and very professionally run. The restaurant is very elegant and our New Years Eve dinner there was stunning.

Everything was great, we can't wait to visit again.

The tent and private pool was wonderful. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our every request. They organized a private candlelit dinner at our pool, floating breakfast, shuttles to center of Ubud, Landry and more. It was the best service I have had in any hotel.
