very relaxing and comfortable

great views from lounge and deck across the bay. Shower and bathroom very good. Bed was exceptionally comfortable.

the motel location was great. Right on the board walk which you could go to town or the surf club

the motel was in the perfect location for the beach . We had bad weather

Satisfied our quick stop

It was a quick stop for family of 4. Having single beds was good for the kids.

Property is old, tired and dated but clean though.

Comfortable room, quiet location, good local fish n chip shop 5min walk away

Facing the sea. Great board walk outside.. comfortable apartment

I’m sensitive to animals., and the chairs had dog fur.. be nice to know in advance

Great location, excellent staff and wonderful room.

Friendly and welcoming staff, wonderful apartment, straight onto the beach. Great care had been taken with the presentation of rooms and it was a comfortable place to stay.

Location

We could not access our room because trades people were working there. Arrival is supposed to be 2:00pm we could not access until 3:30pm

Hosts were super lovely and added the icing on the cake of a very nice stay. Thanks!

View was amazing, enjoyed sitting in the lounge or on the deck watching the sun go down. Easy access to everything; beach, shops and restaurants.

Our WIFI router was not in the room, but Jacqueline was very proactive to help us try to find it...thank you :)

Pleasant

Local was nice. Room deco was lovely with modern and clean bedding etc.

There was no wifi and the balcony beach side was unable to be used because of renovation. Balcony road side was available but with no view of the beach.

great stay, we stay here quite often so definitely coming back.

very nice view, close to the beach and easy to get anywhere.

water restrictions, not the motel fault though just make it not enjoyable 100% when you are on a holiday.

Bed was comfy, unit was quiet and curtains blocked out most light. Location close to beach is fantastic.

Carpet was lifted in one corner with wet towel under it. Considering the 2 recent cyclones and local devastation, this is a very minor comment.

Great location but was shocked to find no A/C in the room and also no screens on windows and doors so unable to leave open to get fresh air. No extraction fan in toilet/bathroom.

The lady there was fab! The best customer service we received in all of our stays in the North Island. The house keeping ladies were amazing too!! Across from the beach!
