The apartment was clean and so comfortable. There were five of us and we never felt crowded. The needs of almost any guest were provided for. It's location so near to St. Mark's Square and so many other walkable sites was fantastic! Marika is an amazing host! She met us at the agreed upon location earlier than scheduled check-in time so we could store our luggage in the apartment. We, then, went exploring the neighborhood so the cleaning lady could finish her work. She also provided us with pretty good directions to some nearby attractions and restaurants. She even made the arrangements for a water taxi to take us to the airport! Finally, and perhaps, most important of all, she arranged for someone to bring one couple's luggage to the water taxi and wait with us so we caught the appropriate taxi and made it to the airport on time! Her support and assistance were invaluable and allowed us to enjoy Venice without stress!

Oh, for an elevator! The apartment is on the 4th floor (American) and we are all seniors! The repeated trips up and down the stairs were challenging but schlepping the luggage up was the worst!

Stairs were a challenge with luggage - but we had a lot given we had just come from a 2 week cruise.

Very big and well equipped apartment in the best location in Venice. You have everything you need: fully equipped Kitchen (dish-washer machine included), toiletries, salt, sugar, olive oil etc. There's nothing bad with this apartment and I highly recommend it.

Fantastic stay at this property! The location of this apartment is amazing, 30 seconds from San Marco square and within a 5 minute walking distance from lots of great restaurants. As a family of 4 we had so much space and the two bathrooms were great. The apartment included all appliances you could need as well as lots of helpful information about Venice. Marika was very quick to respond to any correspondence via email. Would highly recommend!

Great apartment and location

The location closed to the San Marco place was just perfect! You can go anywhere very quickly by foot or with the vaporetto. The view nearby on the grand canal is one of the best in the town. The apartment was really big, very comfortable and with nice furniture. And very clean! It was very helpful and convenient to have the possibility to leave the luggage earlier. One but not least: to have a terrace in central Venise is a must!

Plenty of room for a family of five in a great location. Apartment has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Communication was good with the owners and was easy to self check in.

Best Location in the city! And spacious apartment

Very clean and a great layout to a large apartment. We were concerned at how close it was to San Marco Piazza, but one night showed us not only was it very quiet, but also the location made it very convenient to everything. Not to mention close to the vaparatto's and taxi's. Lugging suitcases up and down stairs through-out Venice would have been horrible; no stairs to have to cross and a very close walk from the vaparatto station to the apartment coming from the airport. Very pleasantly surprised that there was breakfast sweets and coffee and tea available, thank you (grazie)! Since we arrived on Sunday, that helped us begin our day on Monday until we could shop for our groceries. Great amenities; had everything we needed dishes, pans, iron, wine glasses, umbrella's, etc. nothing forgotten. Marika was wonderful to deal with and made our check in on Sunday a breeze. Would very much recommend your apartment!

Instructions on how to operate the washer was not easily found. located the manual more than 1/2 way through the 2 week; we just hit buttons until it began washing. If the manual was in a booklet on the front entry table it would have helped. Also, for the size of the apartment the one small drying rack was difficult for us to wash and hang all of our clothing. We packed light knowing we would wash our clothing regularly. A larger rack or one for each room would have been better. Still, very happy that we had a washer! And, the photo's of the apartment on line made us think we would have a larger patio for the 4 of us to sit on in the evenings. The patio attached to our 3 bedroom apartment fit only 2 people. It would help if you made the photo's on line more identifiable to the specific apartments so you can see exactly what you get for each apartment and explain which floor the apartment is on (we had 71 steps up to our 3rd floor; OK for a 40 year old, but I'm close to 70). But in the end great exercise, we ate more gelato knowing we would work it off by going up and down those stairs.

Very large, well furnished apartment. You can't ask for a better location if you want to be in the center of Venice.

The only downside for us were the weak AC units. On top of it, the unit in the living room was broken so we had to keep bedroom doors closed to keep the cool air in.

Best location near by San Marco, good staff. Air conditioner in each rooms.

4th floor but no lift. Considering the place, it’s understandable.

Host met us at an easy to find location. Previously sent us directions from airport to the meeting location, which couldn't have been any easier to follow. Throughout our stay, the host was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in Venice.
