We had a great time. The whole family loved the cabin and at times didn’t want to leave. It’s so close to whiteface and Lake Placid. Great food near by as well.

Our family trip was for our 2 1/2yr old grandson to visit Santa at the "North Pole." He enjoyed a magical visit and the adults were able to sit back, relax and enjoy some good family time. The cabin was nicely decorated for Christmas which added to his excitement and the bin of toys were a great way for him to enjoy something new. The cabin has all the amenities of home and we were able to bake cookies, prepare meals, watch Christmas movies and relax. The location is great. We were very comfortable there. The only thing that didn't cooperate was the weather. We are looking forward to coming back with our other daughters to explore the Lake Placid area. Thanks Tyler and Alyssa!

The cabin is even larger than it appears in photos with plenty of space for groups to hang out. The location is also convenient to Keene, Wilmington, and Lake Placid. We had everything we needed, instructions were easy to find, and overall all 4 of us had a relaxing experience.

Classic cozy log cabin with modern amenities in a log cabin community. Private and woodsy, but not in a remote back woods location. Short walk to the community lake. Thirty minute gorgeous drive to Lake Placid.

We’ve stayed in this cabin before and had a great time coming back! It’s a gorgeous space with everything you need. Fully stocked and prepared for every occasion. I couldn’t give 5 stars on the cleaning this time but that is no reflection of the owners, they trust the cleaning company to have that all taken care of. After mentioning the cleanliness to the owners, they refunded our cleaning fee (I didn’t even ask them to!) and made it right. I wouldn’t have expected them to do that, I just wanted to bring it to their attention. It didn’t have any effect on our stay, we had a GREAT time! The trail that leads to the lake is so fun, the fire pit is stocked with wood, the porch is a great place for morning coffee. We will definitely be back!

This cabin was as advertised and provided many family memories. Communication with owners was quick and supportive and the surrounding beauty in nature was stunning.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful. Plenty of room for everyone!! The kitchen was stocked with way more than anyone would expect as far as seasoning, storage bags, cooking utensils and plates/dishes. There were a lot of activities with in short driving distance. The air conditioners were perfect on a hot day and we’re definitely enough. The beds were SO comfortable definitely a home away from home. Will definitely plan to come back again.

Loved this property. Beautiful design. Great kitchen. Well equipped.
Nice to have a dishwasher. And the washing machine and dryer were great to have, as we stayed here half way through a three week vacation.
Cleanliness was good inside. The balcony hadn't been swept before we checked in. Some muck came out of the jacuzzi jets when we used it.
As others have said, soundproofing between the two main bedrooms is poor, but it wouldn't stop us returning.
Easy to find. Well located, but very quiet and private. One near neighbour, but we heard no noise from them.
Noises at night from outside were amazing. Not sure what critters were making them!
For a couple, this property was not cheap, but it was great value.

The house was stocked with the essentials like tin foil, plastic wrap, towels, wash clothes, hand towels, trash bags, and they had dishes in there with a dishwasher. You couldn't even do your laundry if you wanted to, which we ended up using and was fabulous. So we came home with clean clothes instead of a huge amount of dirty clothes. The owners were very very helpful, we had an issue with one of the AC units and they replaced it as well as any other questions I may have had. They were quick to respond and get back to me. Oh, if you're interested in fishing, there is a private lake right nearby where you can fish without having a license in New York, which is awesome. We took advantage of that every day. Almost after dinner. I would go back again. I really like to layout of the house. And they made us feel welcome without even being there it was amazing. 10/10 rating. Thank you again for a great visit. There is no smart TVs, but they do have cable. I was able to find that out in advance that they didn't have a smart TVs so I brought our Roku to stream shows.

Our group of fly-fishermen spent two nights here. The house was immaculate and well stocked in every way. Beds were comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is in a great location just a short drive to Lake Placid, Whiteface, and other attractions. The host was very prompt with returning messages and kind enough to let us check in half an hour early when we arrived earlier than expected. The kitchen was fully stocked and the property was clean and inviting. There's a cute little lake just a short stroll away, and we really enjoyed roasting our hot dogs and marshmallows over the fire pit (which was stocked with firewood). Maybe the only down side is the lack of sound proofing between the first and second floor. From the first floor bedroom, we could hear EVERYTHING going on in the 2nd floor. But the basement was pretty soundproof. Overall, really nice place to stay!

Nice cabin with good amenities. Was chilly (50 degrees) in the cabin when we got there. I’d recommend getting new silverware. Plastic on fork came off in my daughter’s dinner.

The Tumblerock Cabin is beautiful! The cabin has all the amenities you would want. We cooked all of our meals at the cabin and used the gas grill. All linens were provided and we did not want for anything. It was super warm, even when the temps dipped below freezing. The master bed was super comfy which made it hard to get out of in the morning. There are a ton of other sleeping areas which we did not utilize. We enjoyed the loft TV area, the livingroom and stove and played a few games of pool in the lower level. The community is great. We did not see anyone else except the snowplow! We snowshoed around the lake and on the trails. It is wonderful in the winter. This location would also be highly desirable in the summer. I would highly recommend this cabin and will not hesitate to stay again. I already cannot wait!

My son and I were in town for the Empire State winter Games and decided to stay in a cabin. This was perfect for what we needed and then some. He ended up having several of his teammates stay and there was still room to spare. Great experience!!! Great cabin!!!!!

Our friends and family had a great time staying at your beautiful cabin. Pantry and linens were fully stocked and salt and shovel were readily available for us to use. Entering the house was fairly easy with the lockbox. The snow covered trees and house felt magically as it was our first time visiting the area. We had a great time at Whiteface Mountain. Will definitely return again for another ski trip.

Beautiful Cabin in beautiful Jay New York. We were coming up state for a memorial service and decided to make a long weekend out of the trip up. Couldn’t be any more of a perfect choice. Location was great for trips over to Lake Placid and Wilmington.
The house was very clean and very well stocked. Enjoyed the fireplace every evening We loved walking to and around Lake Eaton and sitting on the bank under the white pine trees. What a quiet peaceful spot. We enjoyed every minute of our trip. It was great catching up with family friends. Unforgettable memories were made. Can’t wait to go back. Would highly recommend this house! Thank you!!

Enjoyed a peaceful stay at Tumblerock cabin. We have stayed in Ausable Acres before, but on the other side and on the Ausable River. This cabin is beautiful, very open and spacious, and in a nice location with an easy path to the trail around the lake, which is beautiful, and access to quiet roads for morning walks. The family games and nicely appointed kitchen were appreciated (although the cabin could use more and thicker pot holders :), there was a nice sitting area upstairs with a super comfortable recliner, and even a pool table in the walkout basement (as some others have noted, the pool table is not even, so it's more for fun than any serious games). The cleaning fee was a bit steeper than we're used to for 2 full days and 2 careful adults and older teenager, but I could see where it would be reasonable for a larger family with younger children who stayed longer. Tyler and Alyssa were very responsive and friendly. All in all a very nice time in a beautiful cabin and location!

This cabin was the perfect spot for a quiet fall getaway. The house was very spacious but felt cozy at the same time. It was stocked with all the essentials: toilet paper, dish soap, paper towels, coffee, spices which was great since we were only there for 2 nights, but did not have to worry about purchasing on our own. The area was very quiet. We enjoyed both nights around the fire pit !

Couldn't have been better. Beautiful, cozy, clean. We wouldn't change a thing about this place and hope to go back this winter. Gorgeous setting...absolutely loved coffee on the covered porch. Everything you need and more*
