Al Mandari Hôtel Tétouan

Reception was very helpful, and the staff spoke multiple languages. They assisted me in getting a taxi to the airport on the last day of my stay. Breakfast was excellent, as was the restaurant.

The hotel has poor soundproofing. I could hear multiple neighbors in different rooms throughout my stay, including TV noise, a crying baby, and what sounded like two people arguing. The mattress was flimsy and uncomfortable.

Very good for a mid range hotel. Clean and comfortable and in the modern "El Ensanche* part of town so no getting lost in the Medina like I did in Chefchaouen and Tangier but still very central. Tetouan is off the beaten track but wonderful. Security guard on front door of hotel. I managed to walk here from the CTM coach station by going up two flights of steps, so I didn't have to negotiate local taxis. Excellent buffet breakfast.

Fridge didn't work. No kettle in bedroom.

The staff when I checked in was very nice and accommodating. I had a very bad travel day and I was crying because no one speaks English in this country and it made it very hard to communicate what I needed. I know this is not America. But could you teach your staff some English because we too like to come visit your beautiful country. The check in girl was very good at her English. The staff who took my baggage to my room was exceptionally kind and understanding of my state of mind. One gentleman stayed with me in my room to help calm me down. He is such a kind d man. Please thank him for me. The waiter who spoke a little English in the restaurant was very kind too. He saw that I was flustered and was sweating and he immediately opened the windows to get me some air. He was the best. Please thank him for me.
