Beachcomber – Beachfront, Sleeps 8, Rocky Point
Beachcomber è una grande casa con tre camere da letto e tre bagni con molti extra. La master suite si affaccia sull'oceano e ha accesso al patio privato, un letto king size, camino decorativo e bagno privato con doppio lavandino, ampia doccia con panche e due soffioni. La seconda camera, anche sul lato dell'oceano, ha due letti matrimoniali e una TV / videoregistratore. La terza camera da letto ha un letto matrimoniale ed è situata accanto al secondo bagno che ha una grande cabina doccia. L'ampia e spaziosa camera offre una vista favolosa sul Mare di Cortez, ha un mobile bar con lavandino e frigorifero full size, un camino decorativo, molti posti a sedere, TV satellitare, lettore CD e Internet wireless. Una caratteristica insolita di questa casa è la sua sala da pranzo separata con ampio spazio per tutti e otto gli ospiti. Accanto alla sala da pranzo si trova la cucina completamente attrezzata con tutti i principali elettrodomestici tra cui lavastoviglie, smaltimento dei rifiuti, isola di preparazione degli alimenti con lavandino e smaltimento, macchina per il caffè, frullatore, microonde, tostapane e un'altra zona pranzo. Adiacente alla cucina è una sala giochi con TV / videoregistratore. I servizi esterni includono un ampio portico coperto con molti mobili e un barbecue a carbonella (portatevi carbone). Al di sopra di questa area è presente una terrazza prendisole di livello superiore, accessibile dall'esterno della casa e dotata di mobili. Altri comfort includono riscaldamento centralizzato / aria condizionata, doccia esterna e ventilatori in tutte le camere. Il proprietario richiede No Smoking Inside e No Pets. Vengono forniti lenzuola e un set di asciugamani da bagno. Minimo di 2 notti durante la settimana; Minimo 3 notti durante i fine settimana di marzo, aprile, maggio e ottobre e tutti i giorni festivi.

The house was very nice. It's an older home that needs some repairs, but the location is fantastic. Our stay was wonderful. Be sure to bring your own spices, including salt and pepper, there is not any there, but the shakers are. Plenty of space for 8 of us. Would absolutely book it again.

We never talk to the host. The apartment wasn't spotlessly clean.

The good: Great location right on the beach. Set up of the house is good with bar area separate from kitchen. Lots of space to spread out. The upper deck is fantastic at night and made the bad much more bearable.The bad: The house needs some major attention; which is understandable from a beach house in Rocky Point. But have stayed at several houses in Los Conchas, and this one definitely needs a little more attention than others. 2 of the 3 showers did not work. One just leaked the entire time we were there. No hot water throughout the entire house. Patio furniture leaves a lot to be desired. There are several broken tiles on the patio that don't go well with bare feet. Access to the beach looks great, but there is a major drop off from the stairs to the sand. Very rocky beach area. And the worst part is dealing with Oceana Rentals which is who manages the house. After confirming with us that we could check in early, we show up at 12 noon as scheduled and are told that the house won't be ready until at least 3. But good news... "we won't charge you for the early check-in!" And when we were finally able to get into the house, it was obvious that nobody had been there in quite some time. Then during the stay when we tried to call about the showers not working, plus the one that just kept leaking, we were told somebody would be right there. Nobody ever showed up the remaining 2 days we were there. Cannot recommend staying here, largely based on Oceana.
