Exceptional stay from the beautiful grounds, plenty of out door seating, koi pond and hot tub to the immaculate and well appropriated room, kitchen and large bathroom, plus hostess Megan was superb with local recommendations, loved Sanctuary Mountain which we would not have known about. Being right across from Lake Karpiro for the International Dragon Boat Festival was the best!!! Also perfect if you have two couples as there were two separate rooms available.

location was great for our needs but the local town had very little open so finding an evening meal was difficult mid week So sorry Meagan, hoping this will be seen as constructive feedback but I’m afraid I agree with the comment regarding lack of bins in the accomodation. A single tiny bathroom bin just isn’t adequate especially when self catering options are available- there is no where to dispose of rubbish any larger than a tea bag. Sadly I also felt quite exposed to other guests walking past the glass front door.

Beautiful set up, fantastic breakfast and superb hostess. Lovely shower and plenty of comfy pillows on the bed. My son and I enjoyed the hot tub.

We could have done with a rubbish bin in the kitchen, it was strange putting tea bags into the bathroom bin. With the three of us there spending the full time there and having taken our own food as well, we could have done with a bin in the kitchen. Otherwise, perfect time. I look forward to going again when the weather is nice.

Location was perfect as I was attending an event across the road at the Don Rowlands Centre.

Felt the bathroom could have had some heating, or at least a heated towel rail.
