Recentemente presentato su HGTV "Bahamas Life", "Entre-deux-Mers" Vistas (unità 2D presso il Buttonwood Reserve Oceanfront Condominium Resort) include una vista a doppio oceano a tutto campo, che si affaccia a ovest sui Caraibi per il tramonto e ad est verso il Atlantic per l'alba. Goditi le splendide viste sull'oceano da ogni stanza attraverso i cursori in vetro di otto piedi e le finestre a bovindo alte sei piedi. Gli ampi ponti privati offrono anche spettacolari viste sul mare in ogni direzione.
La Riserva di Buttonwood ha accesso a due spiagge. Sul lato atlantico c'è una spiaggia di sabbia rosa lunga 3 miglia, di classe mondiale, incontaminata senza una casa singola. Vi si accede tramite il nostro vialetto privato con golf cars. Il condominio è dotato di un golf cart. Sul lato caraibico della nostra proprietà, quasi nel tuo cortile, è una seconda spiaggia. Questa spiaggia è piccola e piuttosto rocciosa, quindi non così estetica, ma l'acqua è calma come un lago e questa spiaggia è perfetta per lo snorkeling, il kayak, il paddle board e la pesca.
Il lato caraibico presenta anche la nostra nuova banchina per imbarcazioni da 70 piedi, perfetta per la piattaforma per saltare / tuffarsi, per la pesca o, naturalmente, per attraccare una piccola barca.

Gli interni decorati professionalmente di questa casa vacanze sono elegantemente arredati, moderni, accoglienti e confortevoli. La cucina, la sala da pranzo e il soggiorno regalano magnifiche viste sull'oceano in ogni direzione, con l'acqua che scintilla a perdita d'occhio.
La camera da letto principale è dotata di un grande sedile con finestra imbottito con magnifiche viste panoramiche sui Caraibi, un luogo perfetto per rilassarsi con un libro o un caffè del mattino, o guardare il tramonto sul mare. Il master è arredato con un letto matrimoniale e dotato di un bagno completo con bagno. Il comandante ha una porta privata che conduce al ponte sui Caraibi.
La camera degli ospiti dispone anche di un grande posto vicino al finestrino con una vista spettacolare, questa con vista sull'Atlantico. La camera da letto ha un bagno en-suite completo (a cui si può accedere anche dalla hall). E 'arredata con due letti singoli che possono essere convertiti in un re.
Buttonwood Reserve viene fornito con kayak e una tavola da paddle per l'uso sul mare o nel nostro stagno. Our group of 30+ rented 7 of 8 condo units at Buttonwood for our daughter's destination wedding. Another couple rented the last condo. They were very nice and we only ran into them a few times. We had a magical week! We rented the main lodge and had several meals catered in as well as hosting the wedding reception there. The condos were very nice and as described. The views could not be beat! When issues came up management was quick to respond and went out of their way to assist us with any requests. We enjoyed the pool which was at the perfect temperature to relax. The pickleball court is awesome and our group had several fun sessions using it. There is a nice shade pergola for those that just want to spectate. Some of the golf carts were in need of some TLC and battery replacement? A few times we ran out of juice at the beach a half mile away. The kayaks may also need some repair, while out on the water a couple of them were taking on water and had to go back to shore. We flew into North ELA which is 45 minutes from the condo. Would not have been a problem but we had to do several trips as family members arrived and departed at different days. Looking back we would have come into Governors Harbor for a bit more $. All in all, we picked a winner in Buttonwood and had a wonderful week with friends and family!

Our stay at the condo was great. Our family of 26 rented out all the condos at Buttonwood and the main house for our annual family reunion, and it was a fantastic and relaxing week! The condos are lovely and the location with access to two beaches is spectacular. The pool was so great and a fun meeting spot for our family. Our condo was clean and comfortable with everything you’d need for a great stay. The on site property manager was quick to action any questions or requests. Before the stay all the info from the rental company was super helpful. We hired Shauna from their recommended list for dinner catering in the main house and she was fantastic and the food was all delicious, and we spent fun evenings all together. We especially loved the beaches and swimming in the warm water, and driving over to the Atlantic beach side in the golf carts was extra fun. The only challenge was the noseeums, the tiny bite-y bugs that show up mostly around dusk, they seriously ate some of us. Bring bug repellant and wear long pants and shoes with socks in the evening! But that was a minor issue compared to how wonderful, lovely, and fun our week long stay was at Buttonwood! Can’t wait to go back someday!

The view from this place is unbelievable. There is something special about waking up and being about to see the Caribbean & Atlantic Ocean. The build quality of the condo is well done. The furnishings in the unit & on the porch are of high quality. The selected decor & amenities give the place a home feel without being cluttered. All linens are name brand & comfortable. The large book & DVD collection is fun. The grounds are inviting & feel very safe.

You will enjoy sunrises and sunsets both from here! We collected a myriad of shells from the beach directly across the road, and enjoyed a sunset with cocktails on the private dock there as well. The golf cart onsite takes you to the private Atlantic beach, and also available for guests are a heated pool, a boogie board, a paddle board, 4 kayaks, a large cooler, 4 beach chairs and an umbrella. Perfect!

Eleuthera is a hidden gem. I almost dont want to leave a review because the island is not commercialized and I hope it never gets that way. Buttonwoodn is a lovely property. It is private and quiet. All of the caretakers are so nice and we enjoyed speaking with them daily. The units are well maintained and pretty decor. The views of both sides are incredible from the upper unit balconies. Check in/out was smooth. Anything we needed or asked for was taken care of promptly. Great experience with both Buttonwood and the island itself. We are planning to be back in the spring!

This was our first time in Eleuthera and the Bahamas. My wife turned 40, and we wanted to spend some quality time together. We were so glad we chose to stay in Buttonwood. The property is well-kept, the staff on site are friendly and helpful, and the apartment was sparkling clean.
We loved 2D as well as you can see the Carribean side and the Atlantic side. We would watch the sunrise while we have breakfasts and watch the sunset at dinner time. There is a grocery store a few minutes away, but we would recommend going into Governor's Harbour to get your grocery. If you are a wine drinker, there is a nice wine store there too.
The reason we chose this property is because we wanted to get away from the crowds. Having a private beach on both sides was great. We would take walks along the beach on the Atlantic side and there will be no one around.
All in all, we enjoyed our stay, and would definitely stay here again. Do make sure you bring mosquito repellent as the noseeums bites were crazy.

An Amazing property and Island
The property is beautiful! The condos are as pictured and really nice! Everything worked and the beach(Atlantic) and dock were great. The views are great!
I had read a previous review that had a complaint about the pool being dirty. I can say that when we arrived it was windy and there were leaves in the pool. There is also a little sand from the wind in the pool but the pool is clean and the leaves were gone on Monday. I wanted to make sure to mention that!
Also heed the bug warnings! Wear bug spray if you are out anywhere near dusk or going into caves/wooded areas etc. The bugs are tough but easy to control.
The beaches are amazing! The diving and snorkeling are also amazing and our day on the Spanish Wells Fishing boat was the highlight of the trip. Capt. Ryan showed us a great time and our 4 and 5 year old boys had a ball! I highly recommend Buttonwood and Eleuthera!!! And don't forget to go to the Govenor's Harbor Bakery-great donuts,breads,dinner rolls etc.!!!

Overall I gave a 3 because we had some issues with the water on day 2 and it took quite a while for that to be resolved. However, kudos to Sonya who did her best to rectify the situation and keep us informed about what was going on. She did her best. Buttonwood is a great property and I encourage anyone to experience all that it has to offer

Totally relaxing paradise. Ahhh the views!
I enjoyed my stay so much that I have already re-booked for November 2017. While temperatures were in the 20's and teens at home, I was sitting out on my condo deck looking out to the Caribbean's beautiful blue waters in temps of upper 70's. And when I got tired of looking out to the Caribbean, I'd merely change decks and look out onto the Atlantic. Such wonderful energy being between two beautiful bodies of water. It was truly hard to leave the beautiful condo but the island is a must see. And this is an owner that cares about their customers. Your satisfaction is very important to them and they work hard to make sure your stay is all that you expect it to be. I cannot wait for Nov 2017 to get here so I can visit again. But this time I intend to spend more time in the condo soaking up the views. Oh, and being someone that works on the road and WiFi is paramount, I must say it was refreshing to have a great internet connection my entire week stay. Thanks to all that had a hand in making my stay a wonderful one in celebrating my 60th birthday. I look forward to seeing you all again.

Great condo and location
The condo was exactly as described and pictured. It was well maintained. It had all of the amenities that you could possibly need. The condo was clean and very comfortable. All of the information we received from the owners was extremely helpful when planning our activities. The location was great for exploring the island.
You absolutely need a vehicle and if you want to visit Lighthouse Beach at the southern tip, you will need an SUV. Everyone was very friendly and helpful when asking for directions. We ate at several restaurants in different settlements and were pleased with the food. They also have a good variety so if you want a nice, elegant meal you can get one and you can also get conch salad on the side of the road.
We would definitely stay at Buttonwood again.

Great Birthday Gift from my Wife
I was surprised by my wife for my 60th birthday with a stay at buttonwood. Our experience was great. The staff was Wonderfull and the buttonwood condo was excellent. The beach was beautiful and the weather great as well. ( I think my wife ordered that also. ) Could not have had a better time on my birthday. Both of us would recommend buttonwood to anyone considering a trip to the island. The condo and all amenities is as advertised. We Kayaked to one of the islands, Bicycled to a local store and took the Golf Cart almost every day to the beach on other side of the island. Thank you Buttonwood Staff for a Wonderfull birthday. And thank you Kelly for a great birthday gift.

Blue skies, blue seas and elegant solitude
I rented this two bedroom unit for a long weekend over Labor Day. I wanted to get away from the crowds, get off the beaten track, and go somewhere quiet. Buttonwood Reserve, and Eleuthera in general, definitely fit the bill.
The photos of the units show very scenic photography of the views from the condo units, and those views were just as accurate as the photos. The condo was clean, practically new, and well-maintained. The views from the condo made it feel like I was practically outside because it had such an open floor plan. I spent my days reading on the back porch overlooking the Caribbean, swimming in the pool on the grounds, walking the Atlantic shore on the other side of the property, and driving around the island of Eleuthera.
The property managers were attentive and quick to help if I had any questions or issue, as was the owner.
Buttonwood Reserve is not a resort. There are no bars or restaurants on-site, no concierge or activities guide, and no hordes of people. That was perfect for me. I felt like I was the only one there at times. I walked the beach every day and never encountered another soul. Still, had I desired to go out and eat or socialize, I was in close proximity to a number of restaurants.
Guests get to use a golf cart with the unit, which is primarily helpful for driving the approximately half-mile pathway from the condo to the Atlantic side of the property. The Caribbean shore is directly in front of the property, separated only by the Queens Highway.
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Buttonwood and intend to return.

Beautiful Sea-to-Sea Views at Buttonwood!
My husband and I have travelled the Bahamas extensively and have always loved Eleuthera for its many beaches and beautiful rolling hills. We chose to stay at Buttonwood Reserve because of it's central location and modern amenities. Our 2nd floor condo, "Ente-deux-Mers" (2-D), was perfect in every way. The condo has everything you need for a very comfortable getaway. The online description and photos are quite accurate but the property is even more beautiful in person. Having the golf cart to access the private pink sand beach was perfect; unfortunately the weather only allowed us to visit this beach on our last day. It appears to have snorkeling opportunities just off shore and the beach itself is very clean. Having the fresh water pool, which was very well maintained, to jump into at the end of our beach days was quite refreshing!
We visited a few other beaches during our stay including some in Hatchet Bay, Club Med (HUGE beach with the pinkest sand I've ever seen!), Double Bay and a few others. The location is close to several restaurants and conveniently located just south of James Cistern where there were two markets that carried a wide variety of all the groceries we needed. We ate lunch dinner at Tippy's and Sunset Inn which are both reliably good. We ordered takeaway from Kel-D's one night which was very convenient. The fresh Bread at the Governor's Harbour Bakery was so good along with their meat patties.
Making reservations through Susan was so very easy and she was quite helpful in suggesting car rentals. Matt, Tara and Tia were all very easy to deal with as well. Getting to the island was easy for us via Silver Airways into North Eleuthera from Fort Lauderdale. We were actually the only two passengers on the flight in and it felt like a private charter! Departing flight was a little late but to be expected in the Bahamas. We will definitely return in the near future and would love to stay at any of the villas since they are all beautiful. I've already recommended Buttonwood reserve to a co-worker who is dying to visit Eleuthera.

Totally relaxing!!
We spent a week in the Paradise called Eleuthera. Buttonwood is indeed picturesque; new; centrally located; and most comfortable. We used the kayaks, the golf cart, and the pool. We enjoyed having a full kitchen and two very comfortable bedrooms and baths. The unit was just as the pictures represent it. Since the weather was a bit marginal, we drove the island, got amazing sweet rolls at Island Farms, and found many wonderful beaches that we had to ourselves. We dined twice at 1648 Restaurant at French Leave Harbor. Our only downside was not being able to watch Game 1 of the NBA championship and the Belmont Stakes.

Beautiful, private residence in the Bahamas!
Buttonwood is an amazing property for those who enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic and Carribean. From sunrise to sunset, we enjoyed the newly furnished unit that is right out of an IKEA catalogue. The pool is a quiet, relaxing oasis and the location is near excellent restaurants and attractions. You can expect great service and friendly greetings from Tia, Brenda and Patrick. All around, such a great alternative to complement our trip to Atlantis.

AMAZING
Had a wonderful time here. Brenda and Patrick were wonderful as well as Tia. The pictures of the views do not do it justice. Just be sure to make sure you have food to cook or you know where you are going because not every place is open. We loved Eleuthera so much we are buying property!

The comforts of home surrounded by rustic beauty
Booking experience -- TOP NOTCH. This team was so responsive and on top of it that they quickly won my business.
The condo -- Beautiful and brand spanking new as of this review! The two decks on each side were our havens and offered spectacular views as promised. Windy on one side? Go to the other. Comfy beds and sheets. Great to have washer/dryer. Internet was surprisingly good.
The grounds -- well maintained. Pool was a nice plus. Golf cart, kayaks, boogie boards, bikes, beach chairs -- all there for the using (only complaint, bike chains rusty and tires flat)
The island -- if you like raw natural beauty, isolated beaches, and rustic "settlements" this is for you. Do your research. Expect dining to be an adventure in asking around, and if you are cooking in, food stores will be small, pricey, and lacking in fresh produce. Signage and road markers...don't expect much! Roll with the punches and a few power outages. This is a place to focus on BEING, not DOING.

I loved my stay at Buttonwood, Highly recommend it
The condo was new and very clean. The views were awesome and I loved that there was a golf cart available in my very own garage. In the morning I would take the cart to the beach for sunrise. The beach was clean and beautiful. There was a ship wreck just off the beach which made for awesome snorkeling. I also liked that there was a convince store very close to grab groceries. After exploring the Island, I stopped at the local dock to buy fresh lobster and go back to the condo and make a fresh seafood dinner. It was nice having a comfortable place to stay...felt like home. I would recommend this place to everyone.
