cleanliness of the room, 2 single beds, carpet, bathroom and ample coffee and tea supply in the room. Reception staff were very helpful and pleasant.
not necessarily better..... breakfast was not very elaborate but fine for the price we paid for the room/hotel. Cafe staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing seemed too much for them to satisfy the hotel guests' queries.

The staff member was very helpful and gave good advice as to where to obtain a main meal late at night

Nice hotel at a good price. Easy access into city centre.
It's a shame they don't allow free access to the leisure facilities if you have hooked through booking.com We didn't know Bannatyne had hotels, so it would be aice introduction to offer this as a bonus.
