Close to city centre, good free parking. Quiet and dog friendly. Very comfy bed, lots of hot water. All you need from a lower cost hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at travel lodge Durham but the room charge was excessive for the hotel.
All the staff were very helpful and deserve praise for efficiency and friendliness
