Comfortable room on ground floor. Owners were very exact and helpful. We could park outside the house

We were told not to gave food in the room

The proprietors were so welcoming. It was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. The bed was comfortable and the room was cosy once the radiator had been turned up full.

The pillows! They were too hard for us but probably suited most people. The TV was very small and only had regular channels.

Hosts were very knowledgeable and helpful. Rooms were spotlessly clean. Bed was extremely comfortable. Excellent pillows. Breakfast was delicious.

Shower wasn’t very powerful but this was a very minor issue.

Central location

Really strict check in at 4pm (which is late) and there wasn’t anyone even there we could leave our bags with. And then a strict check out at 10am the next day. When asked for a late checkout were begrudgingly given an extra 30 minutes. So not much use really. We asked about breakfast and the latest time we could have was 8.30. So we ended up not even getting that which was included in the price and part of the reason we’d picked to stay there as we know not much is open in grantown on a Sunday. Maybe a place to stay if you have to be up and out but wasn’t ideal for our needs and the lack of flexibility with the hosts was disappointing.
