Logis Hôtel Le Gardon

Everything was perfect from start to finish. We were early as my wife has to sleep in the afternoon. The proprietor came out and booked us in even though officially the reception was closed. I was struggling as I'd forgotten my walking stick, and to my surprise she produced one to lend me! The hotel exceeded our expectations. It was a traditional style hotel, which are a rare find these days! I would describe it as old fashioned values together with modern amenities. The room was just the right size and immaculately clean, even looking in the corners and out of the way place you could not see a scrap of dirt. It was the same throughout the hotel. The staff we dealt with were extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. You cannot hope for more than this when arriving at a hotel that you have no knowledge of. Food at the hotel, another highlight. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. We appreciate good food, all the products were of a high quality. We ate in the restaurant on one of our nights stay and it was a lovely meal that you could not fault and at a very reasonable price. We used the swimming pool once, like everywhere else it was spotless and was a nice little extra!

The only thing we didn't like was having to leave!!
